A playful variation of “for sure,” popularized by rapper Snoop Dogg.
Homie:
A term used to refer to a close friend or someone from the same community.
Jelly:
Used to express jealousy or envy. For example, “I’m so jelly of your new phone!”
Rad:
An abbreviation of “radical,” used to describe something cool or awesome.
Wassup:
A casual greeting, derived from “What’s up?” often used in a laid-back, friendly manner.
Y2K:
Refers to the year 2000 and the concerns about the potential computer glitches and issues associated with the transition from 1999 to 2000.
