A collocation is a combination of words that are commonly used together in a natural way by native speakers of a language. These word pairings sound “right” to native speakers because they occur frequently in everyday language.

Break new ground – To do something innovative or unprecedented.

Example: The scientist broke new ground in renewable energy research.

Lend support – To provide help or assistance.

Example: Several organizations lent their support to the charity event.

Draw a conclusion – To reach a decision or opinion based on evidence or reasoning.

Example: After analyzing the data, the team drew a conclusion about the market trends.
