Welcome to the A-Z English podcast. My name is Jack and I’m here with my co-host social. And today we are going to do a would you rather question and so social today’s would you rather question is would you rather get a tour of Santa’s workshop or take a ride?

Taking a ride on Santa Sleigh, did you?

Yeah, that’s what I thought you’re going to say. Yeah, yeah.

Yeah, cause I just think it would be really cool to see the world everywhere that Santa’s gonna visit and the view must be like, insane.

And yeah, and I guess for those who are unfamiliar with, you know what we’re referencing here, the mythology behind Santa Claus is that Santa goes around the world on his sleigh delivering presents to different homes. And I think that would just be interesting because you would get to see so many different places.

In one night, because supposedly his slave is magical, which means you’re transporting through time and space, like pretty much instantly, and so you it’s not like some.

Because he can go through the.

Whole world. Everyone who celebrates Christmas and.

Just that night. So you know he’s going extra fast.

But yeah, it’s such a.

I love how different movies and different story books try to explain this. You know the science behind it. Like he can pause time or.

But even if.

He could pause time. Imagine how long that would take to get through a billion people.

I know he, I guess.

Why? It’s like once a year or something, because if you just pausing time, but it literally takes him a year to get everywhere if that’s the.

If that’s the science behind it, yeah.

Then maybe Santa’s Santas job is really just like a daily nine to five job like he’s.

Xochitl
Yeah. And we just think it’s once a year because of how time works for us versus him. That’s crazy.

Would you rather see the workshop or take?

A ride on the sleigh.

OK, I think you know, I mean obviously like the sleigh ride would be amazing. That’s like the roller coaster. That’s the, you know, that’s, that’s the the fun thing.

But I’m going to go with the workshop because I feel like it will be a a way for me to experience the North Pole and Santa’s, you know, Santa’s world in a much slower, more.

Kind of sophisticated way, so I get to walk through the workshop and meet the.

Elves and see how they make everything and they’ll probably, you know, take me on a tour through the whole thing and it will be a very delightful experience. I won’t get the the roller coaster ride, which is Santa sleigh, but I’m sure that it will be quite a wonderful experience.

To just to walk around.

And see how they make all the presents and see how they make all the decorations and all the other.

Things for Christmas, so I would I would.

Definitely be cool with like taking a.

Tour of Santa’s workshop it’s maybe not the cool the cool choice. The cool choice is definitely the ride on Santa Sleigh, but the experience would be maybe a little bit richer and a little bit more. There be more detail so I don’t.

Kind of experiencing.

Like the culture of the North Pole.

Yes, exactly. Thank you exactly.

Yeah, I think that would be cool. That’s why, honestly, that’s why I said it would be a hard decision because it’s kind of like getting a cultural experience for a country in a place that you would never really get to experience otherwise.

Yeah it. I live in Korea, so it would be like the difference between like going to a museum.

Jack
Which would be like the the workshop or going on a roller coaster ride at the amusement park. It’s like it’s fun, but the cultural experience of, you know, is is richer, although you get to hang out with Santa. So I mean, that’s pretty awesome on the sleigh.

More than like a museum trip. It’s kind of like if you got to go on like, a a snapshot of the past to like Old Korea or something.

Yeah, right. Exactly. It’s not the museum analogy is terrible. It’s. It’s like going back in time and living in like the Joseon Dynasty or something in Korea for a day. That would be incredible, you know.

Yeah, it’d be really cool. So I I think, yeah, I I understand your.
